Why should you be a part of the OurVoice Action Team? Because school funding, academic standards and our compensation are determined largely by politicians in Olympia. By joining the OurVoice Action Team, you can influence who holds elected office and help guide education policies set by our state Legislature. We must stand up as educators locally and statewide to make sure our kids and schools get the tools we need to succeed. The fall election is just the start of our work. When the legislative session starts in January, we must work with the pro-education lawmakers to make sure public education truly is the state’s paramount duty.
