The NEA Fund for Children and Public Education recommends reelecting Congressman Rick Larsen to the U.S. House of Representatives because he is a strong supporter of public schools, staff and students. In his interview he stated his education priorities:

• Alternatives to standardized testing.
• Fully funding the so-called NCLB and IDEA.
• Reducing class sizes.
• Expanding the Pell Grant Program, so more students can afford college.
